hey there
wow -- almost a month -- i'm embarrassed that i've already began to neglect my blog...
shortly after i created this blog i sent notification out to past clients, family, friends, etc. the response was great (thanks for the support you guys) and the very next weekend i was spending time with April and Wiley who belong to Tina - a former neighbor of mine. we have since lost Wiley and i prefer not to go into detail without permission from Tina... but it was a very heartbreaking situation and the best decision was made for all involved. in two weeks (when i was due to keep them both again) i will definitely feel his absence!
RIP sweet Wiley!
in other news -- this week and the week prior -- for approx 9hrs a day, i get to play mommy to my good friends adorable little boy (8 months old?), Noah Ocean. it definitely has its challenges... dogs eat when you offer them food, and pee when you take them out at designated times or areas... babys don't, lol... but i'm managing and overall he's a really good baby.
good or "not" i'm confident that i'll develop the additional patience required to be an excellent mom, as well as work out a routine to keep the household flowing as easily as possible... but at this time - i give a total hats off to those women who can manage being a great mom, wife, homemaker, pet owner and friend, most of the time while holding a job... keeping a garden... etc. happy mothers day everyday!
...well, the kid is being a little too quiet for my comfort, so i'm going to run...
